How Luk It Hyah Works

Simple steps to create an account, post safely, and keep your records.

1) Create Your Account

  1. Sign up with username, email, and password.
  2. Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy during signup.
  3. Verify your email address from the message we send.
  4. After first login, complete your account profile details so posting and contact flow smoothly.

2) Post an Advert

  1. Open "Post advert".
  2. Enter a clear title, description, category, and location.
  3. Set pricing as fixed, free, contact for price, or no price.
  4. Upload up to 5 images and choose your thumbnail source.
  5. Select contact options (email, phone, WhatsApp) that buyers can see.
  6. Submit for review. Ads are approved by admins before going live.

3) Manage Your Advert

  1. Open "My adverts" from your account menu.
  2. Edit details any time, including replacing or removing images.
  3. Edits to live adverts send them back into review before republishing.
  4. You can delete an advert permanently when it is no longer needed.
  5. Approved adverts expire after 30 days from first approval.

4) Messaging and Q&A

  1. Buyers can ask public questions on an advert page.
  2. Sellers answer questions publicly so everyone sees the same information.
  3. Private messaging is available between verified users from each advert page.
  4. Messages are tied to that advert thread to keep context clear and safe.
  5. If an advert is deleted or expires, related message history is removed from the platform.

5) Export Message Records

  1. Open any message thread from Inbox: Messages.
  2. Use "Email message log" and tick the confirmation checkbox.
  3. We email you a PDF copy showing each line as email: message.
  4. Download and keep this file if you need legal or personal records.

6) Reports and Safety Review

  1. Open an advert (browse adverts) and click "Report this advert".
  2. Describe the issue clearly. Contact info is optional.
  3. Reported adverts are taken offline while admins review.
  4. After review, adverts are either restored or removed.
